I.A.Flerov\u00bb<\/strong> head. The department for the use of documents by <strong>M.A.Nikulina<\/strong> held an information hour on the topic: <strong>\u00abTouching history\u00bb<\/strong>, dedicated to <strong>the 310th anniversary<\/strong> of the founding of <strong>the Trinitarian Church and Monastery in Orsha<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In 1714, the construction of a stone Trinitarian monastery with the Church of the Passion of the Lord began in the city. The brothers Adam and Kazimir Sakovich received the right to build the monastery. In 1717 the temple was consecrated with the title of the Holy Trinity.<\/p>\n<p>During this event, students learned about the history of the origin, activities of the Catholic monastic order of the Trinitarians, its founders, as well as when the order appeared on the territory of Orsha and its subsequent fate.
