On December 22, 2023, at the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Belarus<\/strong>, a Republican round table \u00abThe Historical Path of Soviet Belarus\u00bb<\/strong> was held, dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the proclamation of the Socialist Soviet Republic of Belarus. The event was organized by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus<\/strong>, the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus<\/strong> together with the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong>. The round table was organized with the aim of preserving the memory of the most important events in the history of Belarusian statehood, wide media coverage of events dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the proclamation of the Socialist Soviet Republic of Belarus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by Belarusian and Russian scientists, political and government officials, representatives of public organizations, the media, as well as students.<\/p>\n

Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus I.V.Lutsky<\/strong> delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of the President of the Republic of Belarus A.G. Lukashenko.<\/p>\n

Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus V.G.Gusakov<\/strong> addressed the participants of the round table with a welcoming speech.<\/p>\n

As part of the round table with the report \u00abReflection of the restoration of the national economy of the Belarusian SSR in 1943-1950. in the documents of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus\u00bb was made by the Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus O.L.Voinov<\/strong>. Participants of the event were shown a newsreel about the restoration of agriculture, prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents<\/strong> (BGAKFFD). The director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (NARB) A.K.Demyanuk<\/strong> and the director of the BGAKFFD A.N.Gonchar<\/strong> also took part in the round table.<\/p>\n

During the event, there was a presentation of the book \u00abThe Supreme Council of the BSSR of the first convocation (1938-1947)\u00bb, prepared on the basis of documents from the NARB.<\/p>\n

This event helps to strengthen research ties between academic and university sciences and popularize historical knowledge. The materials of the round table are planned to be published and subsequently used in the implementation of government research programs.<\/p>\n
