Kulinka at the International Conference in Gomel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>November 23-24, 2023 at <strong>Gomel State University<\/strong> (GSU) <strong>named after F.Skorina<\/strong> held <strong>the International Scientific Conference \u00abHistory of the Gomel Region in the context of the events of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. (to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Gomel from the Nazi invaders)\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The conference was organized by <strong>the Faculty of History and Intercultural Communications of the State University named after. F.Skaryna<\/strong> together with <strong>the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Belarus<\/strong> and <strong>the Russian House in Gomel<\/strong>. The dean of the faculty, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor <strong>S.Cherepko<\/strong> addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech; Vice-Rector <strong>A.Kukso<\/strong>; First Secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Belarus, Director of the Russian House in Gomel <strong>O.Boronenko<\/strong>; a welcoming speech was read from the director of the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus <strong>V.Lakiza<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the Publications Department of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, Ph.D. <strong>S.Kulinok<\/strong> acted as one of the moderators of the section <strong>\u00abEve of War. Combat\u00bb<\/strong>.
