On November 2, 2023, as part of the \u00abArchives for School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign, the State Archive of the Brest Region<\/strong> (building on Engelsa Street, 8) was visited by students of the Bronnogorsk Basic School<\/strong>. The initiator of the excursion was Mshar Elizaveta Borisovna<\/strong>, a local historian who has been studying the history of the Holocaust for many years.<\/p>\n

Employees of the department for the use and publication of documents introduced the children to the history of the state archive of the Brest region and talked about the composition of the documents stored in it. The children were most interested in documents testifying to the genocide of the population during the years of occupation.<\/p>\n

Students were given a sightseeing tour of the archive with a visit to the archive storage and laboratory for the repair and restoration of archival documents.<\/p>\n
