In the Rechitsa district of the Gomel region, on the picturesque bank of the Dnieper, lies the agricultural town of Levashi. Peaceful and hardworking people live here, the collective farm (PSK) \u201c50 Years of October\u201d operates, which is headed by the Honored Worker of Agriculture of the BSSR, Honorary Citizen of the Rechitsa District Grigory Kupriyanovich Shpakov<\/strong>, today he is the most experienced active manager of an agricultural enterprise in Belarus.<\/p>\n

Grigory Shpakov, who celebrated his 90th birthday on January 1 of this year, comes from the Rechitsa district. Graduated from the Rechitsa Land Management College and the Belarusian Agricultural Academy. He began his career in the agro-industrial complex in the Mogilev region, but later returned to his native land. And from 1969 to the present day, Grigory Kupriyanovich has been at the helm of the collective farm (PSK) \u201c50 Years of October\u201d, thanks to which this agricultural enterprise has remained among the leading ones in the region and region all these years.<\/p>\n

The Zonal State Archives in Rechitsa contains Minutes No. 2 of the general meeting of collective farmers of the collective farm \u201c50 years of October\u201d of the Zaspensky Village Council on the election of the chairman of the collective farm dated March 31, 1969 (F. 225. Op. 1. D. 6. L. 52ob-53 ). It contains the following lines: \u201cThe general meeting of collective farmers of the collective farm \u201c50 years of October\u201d decides: <...> 2. Accept Comrade Grigory Kupriyanovich ShPAKOV together with his family as members of the collective farm \u201c50 years of October\u201d in accordance with the Charter of the agricultural artel; 3. Elect comrade Chairman of the collective farm \u201c50 years of October\u201d. Shpakov Grigory Kupriyanovich with his introduction to the board of the collective farm \u201c50 years of October\u201d of the Zaspensky village council.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition, this archival document was used by the journalist of the Rechitsa regional newspaper \u201cDnyaprovets\u201d Pyotr Filippovich Rebenko when compiling the historical and documentary chronicle \u201cOn the Road of Centuries: Levoshevichi-Levashi\u201d, published in 2011.<\/p>\n
