On October 26, 2023, the X International Scientific and Practical Conference \u00abCurrent Problems of Humanitarian Education\u00bb<\/strong> was held at the Faculty of Sociocultural Communications of BSU<\/strong>, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.<\/p>\n

The dean of the faculty, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor A.V.Burachonok<\/strong> addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech. He noted the importance of preserving the historical memory of the events of the Great Patriotic War and emphasized the special importance of this work in the year of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the German occupiers.<\/p>\n

The plenary session was addressed by the head of the publications department of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (NARB), Ph.D. S.V.Kulinok<\/strong>. He presented a report \u00abActivities of the NARB to preserve the historical memory of the events of the Great Patriotic War\u00bb,<\/strong> in which he focused on the main areas of publishing and exhibition activities of the archive. The speaker spoke in detail about the Internet portal \u00abPartisans of Belarus\u00bb and the publication \u00abArchives. Nothing but the truth\u00bb – a joint project of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus and BelTA. After the report there was a lively discussion with the conference participants.<\/p>\n

Also S.V. Kulinok was presented to the dean of the Faculty of Sociocultural Communications A.V. Burachonk of the NARB publication on the history of the destruction of Khatyn.<\/p>\n
