Advanced training courses are organized by the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice<\/strong> together with the Faculty of History of the Belarusian State University<\/strong> on the basis of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining of the Belarusian State University<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The lectures were given by teachers of the Belarusian State University, senior officials of the Department of Archives and Records Management, and highly qualified specialists from republican archival institutions.<\/p>\n

From the archival industry<\/strong>, lectures were given by RYBAKOV A.E.<\/strong>, director of the institution \u00abBelarusian Research Institute of Document Management and Archival Affairs\u00bb, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor, ZHUK O.Yu.<\/strong>, head of the department of methodology for managing electronic documents of the Belarusian Scientific Research Center for Electronic documentation, SHEVCHENKO T.A.<\/strong>, head of the department of records management and formation of the National Archive of the Republic of Belarus.<\/p>\n

October 17, 2023 First Deputy Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management O.A. LEDOVSKAYA<\/strong> a round table \u00abModern challenges and opportunities in the field of document management and archiving\u00bb<\/strong> was held. At the round table, topical issues of the activities of archives and documentation support services of organizations at the present stage were discussed: organizing work with electronic documents, ensuring information security, increasing the availability of archival information, and retraining personnel.<\/p>\n

As part of the courses, 21 employees of government bodies and organizations and state archives were trained.<\/p>\n

The lesson program had a relevant topic and covered the following issues:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– organizing the work of the organization\u2019s archive and management documentation support service;
\n– regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Belarus and guarantees of the right to information;
\n– legal problems of information security and responsibility in law;
\n– regulatory legal, methodological documents in the field of activity of the documentation support service for management and archives of the organization;
\n– electronic document management systems;
\n– enterprise content management solutions;
\n– ensuring archival storage of electronic documents of government bodies and other organizations;
\n– current trends in the development of information retrieval systems for archival documents.<\/p>\n

At the end of the advanced training courses, a debriefing took place with the presentation of certificates of advanced training of the established form to the students.<\/p>\n

Work to improve the qualifications of employees of government bodies and organizations will continue in 2024.<\/p>\n
