October 18, 2023 on the basis of the Military History Museum named after Hero of the Soviet Union K.S. Zaslonov<\/strong> on the initiative of the Main Department of Justice of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee<\/strong>, the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers of State and Other Institutions<\/strong>, with the participation of: the institution \u00abZonal State Archive in Orsha\u00bb<\/strong>, the Orsha district organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers of State and Other Institutions<\/strong> held an event: thematic living room \u00abARCHIVATIVE\u00bb: the history of the Orsha region in the faces\u00bb<\/strong>, dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the event is to pay tribute to the memory and respect of the people whose creative work glorified the Orsha land.<\/p>\n

Participating in the event were: First Deputy Head of the Main Department of Justice of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Marina Fedorovna Bykova<\/strong>, Deputy Head of the Department of State Registration of Commercial (Non-Profit) Organizations, Legal Expertise and Organization of the Work of Archival Institutions of the Main Directorate of Justice of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Oksana Vasilyevna Pashkevich<\/strong>, Chief Accountant of the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers of State and Other Institutions Marina Vladimirovna Gorodnichaya<\/strong>, Chairman of the Orsha District Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers of State and Other Institutions Tatyana Aleksandrovna Tishkova<\/strong>, Director of the Zonal State Archive in Polotsk Lazarenok Lyudmila Viktorovna<\/strong>, Director of the Military History Museum named after Hero of the Soviet Union K. S. Zaslonova Yuryeva Veronika Yuryevna<\/strong>, workers in the sphere of education, science and culture, archivists, schoolchildren, local historians.<\/p>\n

An exhibition of archival documents \u00abThey glorified our city: the history of the Orsha region in the faces\u00bb<\/strong> and a tour of the Military History Museum named after Hero of the Soviet Union K.S. Zaslonov were organized for the meeting participants.<\/p>\n

The event was opened by the director of the institution \u00abZonal State Archives in Orsha\u00bb Olesya Mikhailovna Bergovina<\/strong> with an introductory speech about the significance of the word \u00abMemory\u00bb; she also determined the motto of the meeting \u00abKeeping the memory of others is leaving a good memory of yourself\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Students of grade 8 \u00abA\u00bb of the state educational institution \u00abSecondary School No. 8 of Orsha\u00bb<\/strong> took an active part in the event, not only as presenters, but also as listeners.<\/p>\n

As part of the event, materials based on archival documents about outstanding people of the Orsha region were presented: heroes of the Great Patriotic War, after whom the streets of Orsha are named, heads of pre-war Orsha enterprises, writer, Honored Cultural Worker of the BSSR Nikifor Pashkevich, actress Zinaida Konopelko, artist Nikolai Taranda, Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus Ksenia Pogorelaya, writer Vladimir Karatkevich and others.<\/p>\n

The highlight of the event was the performance of the art studio \u00abInspiration\u00bb under the direction of Ekaterina Vladimirovna Vyatkina<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At the end of the event, Marina Fedorovna Bykova thanked those present for participating in the living room, emphasizing: \u00abSuch meetings are very important. This is not only an exchange of experience among colleagues, but also gaining knowledge about previously unknown historical facts. Formation of patriotic feelings and respect for the cultural heritage of the country in the future generation.\u00bb<\/p>\n
