On September 20 \u2013 21, 2023, the 19th meeting of the Advisory Council of Heads of State Archive Services of the CIS Member States<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as the Advisory Council) and the International Scientific and Practical Conference \u00abArchives and Electronic Documents: Challenges of the Time\u00bb<\/strong> are being held in Samarkand (Republic of Uzbekistan).<\/p>\n

For reference<\/strong>. The Advisory Council was created by the Decision of the CIS Economic Council on behalf of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS on December 3, 2004 \u00abOn the creation of the Advisory Council of Heads of State Archive Services of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States.\u00bb The Council is a body for industry cooperation in the CIS and was created to jointly consider current issues in archival affairs and develop mechanisms for solving them<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In 2023, the presiding party in the Advisory Council is the Republic of Uzbekistan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The meeting was attended by heads and employees of state archival services of the Azerbaijan Republic (A. Rasulov)<\/strong>, the Republic of Armenia (A.M.Simonyan)<\/strong>, the Republic of Kazakhstan (K.K. Borash)<\/strong>, the Kyrgyz Republic (M.A. Alybaeva)<\/strong>, the Russian Federation (A N. Artizov)<\/strong>, the Republic of Tajikistan (D.S. Langari)<\/strong>, the Republic of Uzbekistan (U.M. Yusupov)<\/strong>, representative of the CIS Executive Committee (M.A. Kulagina)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Republic of Belarus was represented at the Advisory Council by the Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus O.L. Voinov<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the meeting of the Advisory Council, a report \u00abOn the state and prospects of archival work in the Republic of Belarus\u00bb<\/strong> was presented.<\/p>\n

Elections of the Chairman of the Advisory Council<\/strong> for the next period were also held. By unanimous decision, the Head of the Main Archival Department under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, D.S. Langari<\/strong>, was elected to this post.<\/p>\n

During the International Scientific and Practical Conference \u00abArchives and Electronic Documents: Challenges of the Time\u00bb Director of the Belarusian Scientific Research Institute of Document Management and Archival Affairs A.E. Rybakov<\/strong> made a report \u00abSolving the problem of creating and preserving electronic documents without paper analogues\u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The conference was attended remotely by Deputy Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus E.A. Stukanova<\/strong> (\u00abOn the experience of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus in acquiring electronic documents\u00bb<\/strong>) and the head of the department of methodology for managing electronic documents of the Belarusian Research Center for Electronic Documentation O.Yu. Zhuk<\/strong> (\u00abRegulatory support for working with electronic documents in the Republic of Belarus\u00bb<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

As part of the events, a presentation of an exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Central State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents of Uzbekistan<\/strong> took place.<\/p>\n
