Considerations of political expediency came first &#8211; territorial issues should not overshadow the friendly relations between the USSR and Poland within a single socialist bloc.<\/p>\n<p>The situation changed dramatically after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The hybrid aggression of Western countries towards our country, complemented by manifestations of historical revanchism of Poland with its dreams of returning the \u201c\u0443\u0441\u0445\u043e\u0434\u043di\u044f \u043a\u0440\u044d\u0441\u044b\u201d, made it necessary to recreate this holiday.
