On September 15, 2023, in the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as the National Archives), the documents of the partisan brigade named after V.I. Lenin, found by the search party named after Hero of the Soviet Union V.Z.Korzha, were transferred for permanent storage. June 29, 2023 in a forest near the village of Gotsk, Soligorsk district.<\/p>\n

O.L. Voinov<\/strong>, Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He noted that the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus has formed a complex of partisan documents that is unique in its composition and information content. Unfortunately, during the war and operations behind enemy lines, many documents, due to objective reasons, were lost and destroyed. All the more valuable are the documents discovered by the search party on the history of the partisan brigade named after. Lenin, which will certainly fill the \u201cblank spots\u201d in the history of partisan struggle.<\/p>\n

Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Ph.D. O.A. Chernyshev<\/strong> noted the importance of preserving and scientific verification of archival documents as irrefutable evidence of the heroism and feat of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n

Academician-Secretary of the Department of Humanities and Arts of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, A.A. Kovalenya<\/strong> spoke about the great work that Belarusian archivists are doing to introduce the documentary heritage of the history of Belarus into scientific circulation.<\/p>\n

Director of the Soligorsk Museum of Local Lore V.G. Ivanov<\/strong> spoke about how the documents were found and about the work being done to attract young people to the search movement.<\/p>\n

Director of the Central Laboratory for Document Preservation of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus V.L. Klyuiko<\/strong> focused on the work of preserving and restoring the discovered documents, noting that the most important thing at this stage was their preservation from destruction.<\/p>\n

In a solemn atmosphere, the documents were transferred for storage to the National Archives – the director of the Soligorsk Museum of Local Lore and a representative of the search team named after. V.Z. Korzha handed over the documents to the Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, and he – to the Director of the National Archive.<\/p>\n

The special flavor and solemnity of the event were conveyed by the hosts and archive workers dressed in partisan uniforms, as well as the chronicle of the events of the partisan movement during the Great Patriotic War, prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents.<\/p>\n

As part of the work on the patriotic education of youth and the \u201cArchives to School\u201d campaign, the ceremony of handing over the discovered documents was attended by students of the Minsk City Cadet School and students of Gymnasium No. 21 in Minsk, for whom on the same day an excursion was organized to the archives where the documents are stored period of the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n

Students also got acquainted with the exhibition of documents in showcases dedicated to the memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General Vasily Zakharovich Korzh.<\/p>\n

For the ceremony of handing over the documents of the partisan brigade named after. Representatives of the Soligorsk Museum of Local Lore brought to the exhibition museum items from their collections, including a typewriter, personal belongings of V.Z. Korzh, a seven-shot revolver, and a rocket launcher.<\/p>\n

All participants of the event got acquainted with the exhibition of museum objects.<\/p>\n
