On September 11, 2023, Gerasimovich Rostislav Fedorovich<\/strong>, who worked at the institution Zonal State Archive in Molodechno<\/strong> as director for 40 years, would have turned 85. Rostislav Fedorovich was born on September 11 1938 in the village of Kosuta, Vileika district.<\/p>\n

He began his career in 1956 on the Amur Railway, and from 1957 to 1959 served in the ranks of the Soviet Army. After demobilization, Rostislav Fedorovich came to Molodechno, where he began working as a senior researcher at the Minsk Regional Museum of Local Lore in Molodechno. He worked at the museum for several years, but in 1963 he went to work in the archive, which at that time was called the Branch of the State Archives of the Minsk Region in Molodechno, as a senior researcher. However, already on January 8, 1964 Gerasimovich R.F. was appointed director of the archive and worked in this position until June 2004. For his labor achievements, Gerasimovich Rostislav Fedorovich was repeatedly awarded: Certificates of Honor of the Supreme Council of the BSSR, the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, the Main Archives of the USSR and the BSSR, the archive department of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee. In 1987, Gerasimovich R.F. By decision of the board of the Main Archival Directorate under the Council of Ministers of the USSR and the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Trade Union of State Institution Workers, he was awarded the Badge \u201cExcellence in Archival Affairs.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 1991, by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the BSSR, he was awarded the title \u201cHonored Worker of Culture of the BSSR.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2003, Rostislav Fedorovich was awarded the title \u201cHonorary Archivist of the Republic of Belarus\u201d with a badge. By the way, the badge awarded by the Committee on Archives and Records Management under the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus has No. 003.<\/p>\n
