On September 7, 2023, employees of the institution \u00abBelarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Audio Documents\u00bb<\/strong> (hereinafter referred to as BGAKFFD) took part in the opening of the 13th annual scientific conference \u00abTraditions and the current state of culture and arts\u00bb<\/strong> held at the State Scientific Institution \u00abCenter for Research of Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the conference was to discuss the role of scientific research in the field of architecture, fine and decorative arts, theater studies, music, photography, cinema, screen arts in solving pressing problems of modern culture; discussion of current problems in the study of ethnocultural traditions, folklore, anthropology; search for systematic approaches to solving pressing problems of preserving national cultures and historical and cultural heritage in the context of globalization.<\/p>\n

The organizers of the conference are the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the State Scientific Institution \u00abCenter for Research of Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus\u00bb<\/strong> (branch \u00abInstitute of Art History, Ethnography and Folklore named after K.Krapiva of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus\u00bb).<\/p>\n

Leading experts from the Republic of Belarus and CIS countries – the Russian Federation, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Uzbekistan – took part in the conference.<\/p>\n

At the plenary session, a joint report was prepared by the head of the department of state accounting and the scientific and reference apparatus of the BGAKFFD M.D. Romanova<\/strong>. and candidate of art history, associate professor Remishevsky K.I.<\/strong> on the topic \u00abBelarusian dudar duet in film periodicals of 1939: new methods of attribution of archival film documents\u00bb and also the leading archivist of the department of state accounting and scientific reference apparatus of BGAKFFD N.A. Petlitskaya<\/strong> took part in the conference.<\/p>\n
