The event was held as part of <strong>the \u00abArchives for School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign.<\/p>\n<p>In the reading room of the archive, the head of the department for the scientific use of documents and information, <strong>Olga Trotskaya<\/strong>, and the archivist of the 1st qualification category, <strong>Alexander Petukhov<\/strong>, introduced the children to the history of the archive, the specifics of the work of archivists. An exhibition of the most interesting documents from archival funds was presented for schoolchildren.<\/p>\n<p>The students also visited the laboratory for digitizing documents on a sightseeing tour, where they were able to see the process of scanning and digital processing of archival files.
