The younger generation must never forget the price people have paid for peace!<\/p>\n<p>On this day, June 22, 2023, as part of the \u00abArchives for School\u00bb campaign, an excursion was organized in <strong>the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation<\/strong> for students of <strong>the Belarusian National Technological University<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The head of the Department of Information and Use of Documents, Candidate of Historical Sciences <strong>Moseychuk L.I.<\/strong>, conducted a tour of the archive and introduced the tourists to the poster photo exhibition <strong>\u00abRising from the Ashes\u00bb<\/strong>, dedicated to the revival of the city of Minsk after <strong>the Great Patriotic War<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>With the help of photographic documents, the tourists were able to see the destruction caused to the city during the war years, feel the difficult living conditions of the inhabitants of the post-war capital, learn how Minsk was restored.<\/p>\n<p>In the department of information and use of documents, students got acquainted with the works of such architects as: <strong>M.I.Baklanov, G.V.Zaborsky, V.A.Korol, I.G.Langbard, N.N.Makletsova, L.D.Usov G.V.Sysoev<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Drawings, sketches, projects for the reconstruction of the city of the above-named authors aroused keen interest among visitors.<\/p>\n<p>The tour ended with a minute of silence, a minute of remembrance for all those who, at the cost of their lives, secured peace for future generations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/01-47.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" id=\"media-1045142\" class=\"wp-image-1045142 alignnone size-full\" width=\"60%\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/02-42.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" id=\"media-1045143\" class=\"wp-image-1045143 alignnone size-medium\" width=\"50%\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/03-35.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" id=\"media-1045144\" class=\"wp-image-1045144 alignnone size-medium\" width=\"80%\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/04-23.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" id=\"media-1045145\" class=\"wp-image-1045145 alignnone size-medium\" width=\"80%\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>June 22 is the Day of Memory and Sorrow, the day on which the Great Patriotic War began 82 years ago.
