Azin in Polotsk became guests of <strong>the State Archives in Polotsk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the Department for the Use and Publication of Documents <strong>Dichkevich M.M.<\/strong> told about the history of creation and about the main activities of the archive. The children learned how documents are received in the archive for storage, how a quick search for an archival document in archives among hundreds of thousands of documents is ensured, their safety and use.<\/p>\n<p>Schoolchildren were genuinely interested in cards for receiving food rations, extracts from registers of births, copies of graduation certificates, photographs of the city of Polotsk in different years.<\/p>\n<p>For schoolchildren, a sightseeing tour of the archives and watching a video of the BGAKFFD \u00abWhen the summer was without mobile phones.
