On June 1, 2023, the State Archives of the Gomel Region<\/strong> institution, as part of the Archives for School<\/strong> campaign, hosted the event \u00abMy Mom’s Profession!\u00bb<\/strong>, timed to coincide with International Children’s Day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On this festive day, the children of the archive employees were invited to the event.<\/p>\n

In his opening speech, Deputy Director of the Archive Mitskevich A.P.<\/strong> congratulated those present on the first day of summer, on International Children’s Day – a good childhood holiday.<\/p>\n

\u2013 This date reminds us, adults, of the need to protect our children from numerous threats. On this important day, I once again appeal to you: take care of the children! And of course, with all our busyness, spend time with them as often as possible, remain for them the most dear, the most loving and beloved people, – A.P.Mitskevich.<\/p>\n

For the little guests, a lesson was held \u00abThe State Archive of the Gomel Region: History and Modernity\u00bb, in which the children learned interesting facts from the history of the regional archive.<\/p>\n

The children also had a tour of the archive building, during which each child got acquainted with the work of his mother in practice. The daily and difficult work of the archive workers to preserve the country’s documentary wealth for the history made an impression on the guys.<\/p>\n

The event ended with the presentation of valuable gifts and a friendly tea party with sweet treats.<\/p>\n
