On May 27, 2023, the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents<\/strong> took part in the event of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee – the presentation of the brands (achievements)<\/strong> of the region dedicated to the \u00abYear of Peace and Creation\u00bb, held on the territory of the memorial complex Mound of Glory.<\/p>\n

During the work of the branded platform of the archive, the guests of the event were presented with: the photo exhibition \u00abThe Difficult Path to Victory\u00bb<\/strong>, photo albums compiled from photographic documents from the collections of the front-line correspondent V.I.Arkashev<\/strong>, and participant of the Great Patriotic War, Professor A.M.Bogomolov<\/strong>, as well as photographs with views of the cities of Belarus in the late XIX-XX centuries. These are the collections of the philocartist N.S.Tagrin<\/strong> and the surgeon V.I.Kaleda<\/strong>. In addition, everyone could get acquainted with the printed materials of the archive, photographic equipment and various types of film, video and audio document carriers used in the past – cameras, video cassettes, gramophone records, magnetic tape, positive and negative film.<\/p>\n

The materials of the brand site were introduced to the guests of the exhibition by the following archival workers – Acting Head of the Department of Scientific Reference Apparatus and NSA M.D.Romanova<\/strong>, Head of the Department of Digitization of Documents A.S.Tyukhay<\/strong>, head of the archives of the department for ensuring the safety of documents and funds T.P.Novikova<\/strong>, leading specialist in the organization of procurement of the department of organizational and personnel work M.A.Varivodskaya<\/strong>. They spoke in detail about the photo exhibition, archival documents and the work of the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents to preserve the audiovisual heritage of Belarus.<\/p>\n
