On May 25-28, the head of the Publications Department of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, Candidate of Historical Sciences S.V.Kulinok<\/strong> took part in the International Scientific Conference \u00abFrom Breaking the Siege of Leningrad to the Battle of Kursk\u00bb<\/strong> (on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the turning point<\/strong> in the Great Patriotic War), which took place in St.Petersburg (Russia).<\/p>\n

On May 25, a round table was held on various aspects of the blockade of the Hero City of Leningrad. On May 26, a plenary session was held. Vice-Governor V.N.Knyaginin<\/strong>, Director of the State Memorial Museum of Defense and Siege of Leningrad E.V.Lezik<\/strong> addressed the participants with welcoming words.<\/p>\n

On May 27, the head of the Publications Department, Candidate of Historical Sciences S.V.Kulinok made a presentation at the sectional meeting \u00abAction 1005: the Nazis covered up the traces of the mass extermination of the population of Belarus\u00bb<\/strong>. The presentation aroused interest and discussion among the conference participants.<\/p>\n

For his great personal contribution to the organization and holding of the International Conference \u00abHero Cities: front and rear in the largest battles of the Great Patriotic War\u00bb<\/strong>, which took place in 2022, S.V.Kulink was awarded a letter of thanks from the vice-governor of the city V.N.Knyaginin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
