On May 25, 2023, as part of the \u201cArchives for School\u201d<\/strong> action, a meeting was held in the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> with members of the memorial detachment of Post No. 1, carrying the Honorary Watch of Memory near the Eternal Flame on the square Victory. This time the archive was visited by students of the Minsk City Cadet School in the amount of 28 people.<\/p>\n

Elena Kushnova, deputy director of the National Archives, delivered a welcoming speech to the children.<\/p>\n

As part of the meeting, the children were given a tour of the archive. Head of the department of funds of personal origin Inessa Vladimirovna Dorogush spoke about the history of the National Archives, about the composition and features of storing documents, the work of the archive in the field of publication and exhibition activities. During the tour, students got acquainted with the publications of the National Archives, a photo-documentary exhibition dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of Vasily Ivanovich Kozlov, a statesman and party leader, Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General, as well as a banner exhibition “Khatyn – a shrine of national memory”, dedicated to to the 80th anniversary of the tragedy of the Belarusian village of Khatyn.<\/p>\n

The cadets visited the archives, where they got acquainted with the documents of the partisan formations, the samples of the State Emblem and the State Flag of the Republic of Belarus.<\/p>\n
