On May 24, 2023, a solemn ceremony of awarding the participants of the contest \u00abYoung Leader of the Minsk Region\u00bb<\/strong> was held in the Minsk Regional Executive Committee. Archivist – Mesha Svetlana Vitalievna<\/strong>, the leading archivist of the department of organizational and personnel work of the institution \u00abBelarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents\u00bb<\/strong> was declared the winner of the regional competition \u00abYoung Leader of the Minsk Region\u00bb in the field of scientific activity. The goal of her project is to ensure effective work with audiovisual documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus, to expand access to retrospective audiovisual documents in the interests of citizens, society and the state, to ensure the safety and use of digital copies of audiovisual documents.<\/p>\n

It is noteworthy that one of the winners of the competition was her husband, Viktor Sergeevich Shchekochikhin. The Minsk Regional Executive Committee organized an excursion for the participants of the competition to the State Memorial Complex \u00abKhatyn\u00bb<\/strong>, where the participants of the competition laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and the sculpture \u00abThe Invincible Man\u00bb<\/strong>, and also visited the museum and the church.<\/p>\n

The contest \u00abYoung Leader of the Minsk Region\u00bb is held to popularize the achievements of young people, stimulate creative work, promote innovative ideas, best practices and recognize achievements in industrial, creative and social activities, as well as identify initiative and promising leaders, involve them in active social activities and create conditions for professional growth. <\/p>\n

Following the results of the awards ceremony, the deputy chairman of the regional executive committee, Ivan Stanislavovich Markevich<\/strong>, took the initiative to include the winners of the competition in the regional Council of Working Youth.<\/p>\n

We congratulate Svetlana Vitalievna Mesha and her husband on winning the contest and wish them further success for the benefit of BGAKFFD!<\/p>\n
