On May 18, 2023, the State Institution \u00abNational Archives of the Republic of Belarus\u00bb<\/strong> was visited by representatives of the State Educational Institution \u00abGorremavtodor of the Minsk City Executive Committee\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The guests were greeted by Deputy Director of the Archive Elena Vladimirovna Kushnova<\/strong>. She spoke about the main directions of the archive’s work, its publication, exhibition activities and events held by the archive in the Year of Peace and Creation.<\/p>\n

Elena Vladimirovna drew attention to the information potential of the archive funds in the study of family history, as well as to the Internet project \u00abPartisans of Belarus\u00bb<\/strong>, created on the basis of documents from the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, where you can find information about your relatives who participated in the partisan and underground movement.<\/p>\n

For representatives of the State Public Association \u00abGorremavtodor of the Minsk City Executive Committee\u00bb and employees of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, the head of the publications department, candidate of historical sciences Svyatoslav V. Kulinok<\/strong> gave a lecture on the topic \u00abPartisan movement on the territory of Belarus during the Great Patriotic War\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A tour of the archive was organized for the guests, they visited the archives of the funds of partisan formations, where they got acquainted with the conditions for storing documents, as well as documentary sources on the history of the partisan movement, about the crimes of the German occupation authorities against the civilian population, the removal of residents of the BSSR for forced labor in Germany, etc.<\/p>\n
