On May 18, Almaty hosts the International Scientific and Practical Conference \u201cTopical Issues of Preservation and Access to Audiovisual Documents of the National Archival Fund\u201d<\/strong> as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Central State Archive of Film, Photo Documents and Sound Recordings of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Director of BGAKFFD Andrey Nikolaevich Gonchar<\/strong> takes part in the events. In his address at the plenary session, A.N. Gonchar stressed that the institutions \u201cBelarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents\u201d and \u201cCentral State Archive of Film and Photo Documents and Sound Recordings of the Republic of Kazakhstan\u201d have been linked by many years of cooperation and professional relations.<\/p>\n

Also A.N. Gonchar made a presentation \u201cFrom the experience of the establishment \u201cBelarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents\u201d in ensuring the safety of audiovisual documents\u201d, in which he paid special attention to the experience in the field of automation and digitization of audiovisual documents.<\/p>\n
