The exploits of heroes are immortal\u00bb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On May 4, 2023, as part of the republican campaign <strong>\u00abArchives &#8211; School\u00bb<\/strong> by the institution <strong>\u00abState Archive of the Gomel Region\u00bb<\/strong> for students of <strong>the \u00abSecondary School No. 2 named after G.M.Skleznev, Gomel\u00bb<\/strong> a series of lessons was held on the topic <strong>\u00abMay 9, 1945. Heroes&#8217; exploits are immortal\u00bb<\/strong> on the basis of the <strong>library-branch \u21163 of E.R.Romanov, Gomel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During the lessons, the senior researcher of the department of information, publication and use of documents of the regional archive <strong>Drozdova A.M.<\/strong> told the schoolchildren that a significant layer of documents from the period of the Great Patriotic War is stored in the institution \u00abState Archive of the Gomel Region\u00bb. These are mainly documents of the Extraordinary State Commission for the Establishment and Investigation of the Crimes of the German-Fascist Invaders and Their Accomplices and the Damage They Caused to Citizens, Collective Farms, Public Organizations, State Enterprises and Institutions of the USSR. The students were presented with the most interesting and unique documents stored in the regional archive.<\/p>\n<p>The lesson was accompanied by a demonstration of archival documents at an exhibition on the above-mentioned topic, and released a keen interest in the history of our country among schoolchildren.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, within the framework of the event, senior researcher Drozdova A.M. familiarized the children with catalogs of documents <strong>\u00abWe are not slaves! The fates of ostarbeiters in photo documents, letters and memories\u00bb<\/strong> and <strong>\u00abForgive people&#8230;\u00bb Facts about the atrocities of the Nazis in occupied Gomel\u00bb<\/strong>, in the preparation of which the materials of the \u00abState Archive of the Gomel Region\u00bb were used.<\/p>\n<p>Save the legacy of the past! This was exactly what was discussed at the meeting with schoolchildren.
