{"id":1007153,"date":"2023-05-04T13:54:51","date_gmt":"2023-05-04T10:54:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1007153"},"modified":"2023-05-04T13:57:11","modified_gmt":"2023-05-04T10:57:11","slug":"a-meeting-with-students-of-bguki-in-the-belarusian-state-archive-museum-of-literature-and-art","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1007153","title":{"rendered":"A meeting with students of BGUKI in the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On May 4, 2023, students of the 3rd year of the \u00abLibrary and Information Activities\u00bb course of <strong>the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts<\/strong> visited <strong>the Belarusian State Archives-Museum of Literature and Art<\/strong> within the framework of <strong>the \u00abArchives &#8211; School\u00bb<\/strong> republican campaign organized by the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus.<\/p>\n<p>Leading researcher V<strong>iktor Zhibul<\/strong> led a tour of the Victory Day exhibition <strong>\u00abTowards the Sun\u00bb<\/strong>, the title of which was given to the collection of the same name by Petrus Brovka, published in 1943. The exhibition presents books and periodicals of the 1940s, as well as works of art by <strong>Ivan Akhremchik<\/strong>, <strong>Valentin Volkov<\/strong>, and <strong>Sergey Gorodetsky<\/strong>, devoted to the liberation of Minsk and Victory in the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n<p>Leading archivist <strong>Natalya Pustilnik-Marchuk<\/strong> gave a lecture to the students about the use of archival documents of personal origin in the practice of the archive-museum work, told about the work of researchers in the reading room.
