Belarusian children in concentration camps\u00bb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the <strong>\u00abArchives to School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign and events dedicated to <strong>the Year of Peace and Creation<\/strong>, on April 13, 2023, archive workers met with 7th grade students of the educational institution <strong>\u00abSecondary School No. 7 in Orsha\u00bb<\/strong> and held an information hour for them on the topic : \u00abBells of memory. Belarusian children in concentration camps.<\/p>\n<p>During this event, the children were shown photographs of Nazi atrocities against children in concentration camps. Toddlers and teenagers were taken by force from their mothers, blood was taken for wounded German soldiers, and medical experiments were carried out. Of the more than 24,000 deported Belarusian children, less than 2,000 survived.
