On April 5, 2023, a working visit was made by the Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus O.L.Voinov<\/strong> together with the First Deputy Head of the Main Department of Justice of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee S.V.Boroznaya<\/strong>, who is responsible for the field of archives and records management of the region , to the institution \u00abZonal State Archive in Slutsk\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The leaders got acquainted with the activities of the zonal state archive, the conditions for storing documents and the work of archivists in all areas of activity, including the creation of digital copies of archival documents and the existing material and technical base. The following were studied: the arrangement and equipment of archives, the layout and purpose of the premises in the newest building of the State Archives to date (built in 2018 according to an individual project). Attention is drawn to the good fulfillment of the requirements for compliance with the regulatory conditions for storing documents.<\/p>\n

Director of the Department O.L.Voinov held a meeting with the administration of the zonal archive, at which the report of the director of the archive I.A.Borodina<\/strong>, speeches of the deputy director and heads of departments were heard.<\/p>\n

The issues of organizing the work of the Slutsk Regional Archive, located on the premises of the zonal state archive, and the interaction between the state and territorial archives were also considered.<\/p>\n

The visit ended with a meeting with the staff. The work of archivists received a positive assessment from the head of the industry.<\/p>\n

The employees of the zonal archive in Slutsk were assigned specific tasks for the current period, which will be reflected in the protocol of instructions. Among them – scheduling the digitization and cardboarding of documents; making proposals for further filling the archives of both the zonal archive in Slutsk and other state archives of the Minsk region. The protocol of instructions reflects the development of the institution’s activities within the framework of the \u00abArchives for School\u00bb event, taking into account the specifics of the composition of archive documents, as well as other tasks.<\/p>\n
