{"id":1006379,"date":"2023-03-28T15:58:33","date_gmt":"2023-03-28T12:58:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1006379"},"modified":"2023-03-28T16:07:07","modified_gmt":"2023-03-28T13:07:07","slug":"conducting-a-lesson-for-students-as-part-of-the-archives-for-school-campaign-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1006379","title":{"rendered":"Conducting a lesson for students as part of the \u00abArchives for School\u00bb campaign for 9th grade students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On March 28, 2023<\/strong>, as part of <strong>the \u00abArchives to School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign, the institution <strong>\u00abThe State Archive of the Grodno Region\u00bb<\/strong> held a lesson for 9th grade students of the State Educational Institution <strong>\u00abSecondary School No.7 in Grodno\u00bb<\/strong> on the topic <strong>\u00abThe Role of Archives in Preserving Historical Heritage\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Schoolchildren got acquainted with the history of the formation and development of archives in Belarus, received information about the composition and content of documents stored in the State Archives of the Grodno Region. The students were presented with the most interesting and valuable documents stored in the archive. The staff of the reading room demonstrated collections of archival documents prepared with the participation of the State Archives of the Grodno Region.<\/p>\n<p>In the laboratory for the restoration, binding and repair of documents, students watched the process of restoring paper media.
