{"id":1006350,"date":"2023-03-27T15:56:12","date_gmt":"2023-03-27T12:56:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1006350"},"modified":"2023-03-27T15:59:11","modified_gmt":"2023-03-27T12:59:11","slug":"conducting-a-lesson-for-students-as-part-of-the-archives-for-school-campaign-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1006350","title":{"rendered":"Conducting a lesson for students as part of the \u00abArchives for School\u00bb campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On March 27, 2023<\/strong>, as part of <strong>the \u00abArchives to School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign, the institution <strong>\u00abThe State Archive of the Grodno Region\u00bb<\/strong> for students of grade <strong>11 \u00abB\u00bb<\/strong> of the State Educational Institution <strong>\u00abSecondary School No.2 of Grodno\u00bb<\/strong> a lesson was held on the topic <strong>\u00abPartisan and underground struggle on the territory of the Grodno region during the Great Patriotic War\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The employees of the archive told the children about how the struggle between partisans and underground fighters unfolded under the conditions of a tough occupation regime.<\/p>\n<p>The students were presented with an exhibition of documents <strong>\u00abThere was a people&#8217;s war. Partisans and underground workers of the Grodno region\u00bb<\/strong>, exhibited in the reading room of the institution.<\/p>\n<p>Reading room employees introduced students to documentary materials on the activities of underground groups and partisan brigades stored in the archive: orders from the headquarters of partisan brigades, information about the sabotage work done, about the combat and strength of partisan detachments and brigades, notebooks, photographs, memoirs and letters from participants partisan and underground anti-fascist movement.<\/p>\n<p>The schoolchildren were given a guided tour of the archives.
