On March 17, 2023, an interactive exhibition \u00abPartisans of Belarus\u00bb<\/strong> was opened at the State Institution \u00abRepublican Scientific and Practical Center \u00abCardiology\u00bb<\/strong> (RSPC). The exposition is dedicated to the partisan and underground movement during the Great Patriotic War and is based on documents from the unique project of the Belarus Segodnya publishing house<\/strong> and the National Archives<\/strong>, the Partisans of Belarus portal<\/a>, materials from the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The exhibition was opened by Natalya Pavlovna Mitkovskaya<\/strong>, Director of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center \u00abCardiology\u00bb. In her speech, N.P. Mitkovskaya noted the importance of the presented project in preserving the historical memory of the participants in the Great Patriotic War. She told the guests and colleagues about her father, a military pilot who participated in the war, about how the family honors and preserves his memory.<\/p>\n

Director of the National Archives A.K. Demyanuk<\/strong>, speaking to the audience, spoke about the project \u00abPartisans of Belarus\u00bb and noted that the interactive exhibition is a tribute to those who fought against the Nazis as part of partisan brigades, detachments and formations during the Great Patriotic War. This project was launched in 2019 and is of great importance in popularizing archival documents. A.K. Demyanuk spoke about the publication activities of the archive, which is also one of the main activities in the verification of historical facts, and handed over copies of the collection of archival documents \u00abKhatyn tragedy\u00bb, prepared for the 80th anniversary of the burning of Khatyn, to the director of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center \u00abCardiology\u00bb N.P. Mitkovskaya and General Director – Editor-in-Chief of the publishing house \u00abBelarus Segodnya\u00bb D.A. Zhuk. The director of the National Archives thanked the leadership of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center \u00abCardiology\u00bb for the opportunity to present an exhibition for the employees of the center.<\/p>\n

Zhuk<\/strong>, speaking to the employees of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center \u00abCardiology\u00bb, noted that the portal \u00abPartisans of Belarus\u00bb was visited by thousands of users from our country and representatives of other countries of the world. As long as people remember and pass on from generation to generation the history of not only our country, but also of each individual hero, there is hope that war will not come to our land. D.A. Zhuk spoke about the possibility of filling the portal with information from family archives – photographs, documents about heroic ancestors. D.A. Zhuk also spoke about his heroic grandfathers who took part in the partisan movement. The memory of them became the impetus and the main incentive in the creation of an electronic encyclopedia.<\/p>\n
