{"id":1005995,"date":"2023-03-09T16:47:26","date_gmt":"2023-03-09T13:47:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1005995"},"modified":"2023-03-10T09:45:34","modified_gmt":"2023-03-10T06:45:34","slug":"on-holding-a-lecture-and-excursion-for-students-of-the-faculty-of-history-of-the-belarusian-state-university","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1005995","title":{"rendered":"On holding a lecture and excursion for students of the Faculty of History of the Belarusian State University"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On February 6, 2023, as part of the Republican campaign <strong>\u00abArchives for School\u00bb<\/strong> and <strong>the Year of Peace and Creation<\/strong> proclaimed in the Republic of Belarus, a lecture and excursion were held at <strong>the National Historical Archives of Belarus<\/strong> for 4th year students of <strong>the Faculty of History of the Belarusian State University<\/strong> (specialty \u00abHistory\u00bb and \u00abHistorical and Archival Studies\u00bb), who began to undergo pre-diploma practice on the basis of the institution.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the event, Deputy Director of the Archive <strong>Maksim Makarov<\/strong> told the guests about the history of archiving in the Belarusian lands, the history of the NIA of Belarus, the composition and features of the institution&#8217;s funds, the possibility of using archive documents when studying family history. Deputy Head of the Research and Publication Department <strong>Yevgeny Glinsky<\/strong> conducted a tour of the archives for students, where he introduced them to the conditions for storing the funds of the NIA of Belarus, samples of such documents as act books of judicial institutions of the 16th\u201318th centuries, parish registers, revision tales and deeds about noble origin.
