{"id":1005931,"date":"2023-03-03T14:22:17","date_gmt":"2023-03-03T11:22:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1005931"},"modified":"2023-03-03T14:23:01","modified_gmt":"2023-03-03T11:23:01","slug":"archives-for-school-an-excursion-for-students-of-the-state-educational-institution-secondary-school-no-34-of-mogilev","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1005931","title":{"rendered":"\u00abArchives for school\u00bb: an excursion for students of the State Educational Institution \u00abSecondary School No. 34 of Mogilev\u00bb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On February 28, 2023<\/strong>, as part of <strong>the \u00abArchives for Schools\u00bb<\/strong> campaign, the head of the department for the scientific use of documents and information of the institution <strong>\u00abState Archives of the Mogilev Region\u00bb<\/strong> <strong>O.V.Trotskaya<\/strong> and an archivist of the 1st qualification category <strong>A.I.Shvyryov<\/strong> conducted an excursion for the 10th grade students of the State Educational Institution <strong>\u00abSecondary School No. 34 of Mogilev\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the reading room, the staff told the children about the types of activities that archivists perform, the composition of documents, and demonstrated the most interesting of them. They got acquainted with the documents and materials used by archivists in the search for information of a biographical and genealogical nature. Schoolchildren also got acquainted with documents from funds of personal origin.<\/p>\n<p>Then the guys visited the archives, where they could see how the safety of documents is ensured, and learned what archivists do for this.
