On January 18, 2023, as part of the events dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation and the \u201cArchives to School\u201d campaign, employees of the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents conducted an excursion for students and teachers of the Luban State College.<\/p>\n

During the tour, the guests were able to get acquainted with the exhibition \u201cPhoto Chronicle of the Great Patriotic War. 1941-1945″. The exhibition exposition unites 6 stands: “A country on fire”, “Occupied childhood”, “Temples under enemy gunpoint”, “Partisan Republic”, “Hard path to Victory”, “Feat is immortal”. Having visited the departments of technical control, digitization of documents and the laboratory of restoration of documents, the students got acquainted with the features and specifics of their work. In the reading room of the archive, the excursionists were told about archival work in the Republic of Belarus and about the main milestones in the formation and development of the BGAKFFD. The tour ended with watching fragments of the films \u201cCountdown. Belarusian space. Secret Topic\u201d (2011) about the participation of Belarusians in the space program of the USSR and \u201cNew Minsk\u201d (1954), dedicated to the post-war restoration of the capital.<\/p>\n
