{"id":1005087,"date":"2022-12-15T15:58:35","date_gmt":"2022-12-15T12:58:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1005087"},"modified":"2022-12-15T15:58:35","modified_gmt":"2022-12-15T12:58:35","slug":"on-the-holding-by-the-institution-zonal-state-archive-in-zhlobin-of-a-memory-lesson-ordinary-genocide-with-students-of-the-state-educational-institution-secondary-school","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1005087","title":{"rendered":"On the holding by the institution \u00abZonal State Archive in Zhlobin\u00bb of a memory lesson \u00abOrdinary genocide\u00bb with students of the State Educational Institution \u00abSecondary School No. 7 of Zhlobin\u00bb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the implementation of the Law <strong>\u00abOn the Genocide of the Belarusian People\u00bb<\/strong>, signed by the President of Belarus <strong>A.G.Lukashenka<\/strong> on January 5, 2022 and the <strong>\u00abArchives to School\u00bb<\/strong> campaign, employees of <strong>the Zonal State Archive in Zhlobin<\/strong> held a memory lesson <strong>\u00abOrdinary Genocide\u00bb<\/strong> on <strong>December 15, 2022<\/strong>, for <strong>5th grade<\/strong> students of the state educational institution <strong>\u00abSecondary School No. 7 Zhlobin\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Archivist <strong>Eliseeva Irina Nikolaevna<\/strong> and history teacher <strong>Volina Natalya Andreevna<\/strong> introduced the children to archival documents revealing the details of the terrible tragedy &#8211; the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n<p>Students read eyewitness accounts, witness interview protocols, acts of damage and other materials of the &#8220;Extraordinary State Commission for the Establishment and Investigation of the Atrocities of the Nazi Invaders and Their Accomplices&#8221; committed by them in the Zhlobin and Streshin regions.<\/p>\n<p>Genocide against the civilian population &#8211; this should not be forgotten.
