On December 14, 2022, the National Library of Belarus<\/strong> hosted a presentation of collections of documents and materials \u00abWithout a statute of limitations. Belarus: the crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices against the civilian population in the occupied territory of the BSSR during the Great Patriotic War\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The project \u00abNo statute of limitations. Belarus\u00bb<\/strong> was implemented by the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong> (NARB) with the support of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong>. The \u00abHistorical Memory\u00bb Foundation<\/strong> and the Association of Historians of the Union State \u00abUnion Initiative of Memory and Consciousness\u00bb<\/strong> provided active assistance in the preparation of publications.<\/p>\n

The documents and materials presented in the books tell about the crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices, committed during the Great Patriotic War<\/strong> on the territory of Belarus. The basis of the collections were the documents of NARB. In addition, it included materials from regional archives, the Central Archive of the KGB of the Republic of Belarus, the State Archive of the Russian Federation, the National Archive of the United States, and the Central Archive of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation<\/strong>. The illustrative block presents photo documents from the funds of the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photographic Documents<\/strong> (BGAKFFD).<\/p>\n

The Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus O.I.Chupris<\/strong>, the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Belarus N.M.Starovoitov<\/strong>, the head of the investigative group for the investigation of the criminal case on the genocide of the Belarusian people, the head of the department for supervising the investigation of particularly important criminal cases addressed those present with a welcome speech of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Belarus V.V.Tolkachev<\/strong>, head of the National Memorial Complex \u00abTemple-monument in honor of All Saints and in memory of the sacrifices, saving the Fatherland of our servicemen\u00bb Archpriest F. Povny<\/strong>, director of the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, candidate of historical sciences V. L.Lakiza<\/strong>, head of scientific, educational and public programs of the \u00abHistorical Memory\u00bb fund N. V.Selyukin<\/strong>, director of NARB A.K.Demyanuk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The performance of the male choir \u00abVsekhsvyatsky\u00bb under the direction of D.Tokmakov<\/strong> gave the event a special soulfulness.<\/p>\n

Leaders and representatives of educational institutions, mass media, cultural institutions, memorial complexes and funds, archival institutions, cadets of the Minsk City Cadet School also took part in the presentation of the collections.<\/p>\n

As part of the event, a presentation of the banner exhibition \u00abWithout a statute of limitations. Belarus: crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices against the civilian population in the occupied territory of the BSSR during the Great Patriotic War\u00bb, prepared by NARB together with BHAKFFD.<\/p>\n
