On November 30, 2022, at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus<\/strong>, a meeting was held between the leadership of the archive and members of the Republican Public Association \u00abBelarusian Union of Military Sailors\u00bb<\/strong>, headed by the Chairman of the Council, Captain 2nd Rank Valery Ivanovich Kholodilin<\/strong>. Among the guests were a Soviet and Russian Navy officer, submariner and hydronaut, commander of the 10th detachment of aquanauts of military unit No. 45707 of the Main Directorate of Deep Sea Research of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Rear Admiral, Hero of the Russian Federation Dronov Vladimir Nikolaevich<\/strong>; submarine commander, captain 1st rank Voroshnin Vladimir Nikolaevich; submarine commander, captain of the 1st rank Goncharik Alexander Alexandrovich<\/strong> and other veterans of the navy.<\/p>\n

The director of the archive Demyanuk A.K.<\/strong> spoke to the guests, who spoke about the main directions in the work of the archive, about publishing and exhibition activities. The veterans of the navy showed great interest in the project \u00abWithout a statute of limitations. Deputy Director of the Archive Kushnova E.V.<\/strong> conducted a tour of the archive, spoke about the history of the formation of the archive, about the system of archival institutions in the Republic of Belarus, about the composition of the documents stored in the archive and answered the questions of the guests regarding the procedure for applying to the archive, work in the reading room, what information you can ask for archive, etc.<\/p>\n

The guests also visited the archives, where the head of the department of funds of personal origin Dorogush I.V.<\/strong> and head of the department for the use of documents and information Starostenko M.A.<\/strong> prepared an interesting selection of documents from the period of the Great Patriotic War, about the partisan movement, as well as about the development of the river fleet in Belarus, etc.<\/p>\n
