Yu.A. Gagarin<\/strong>, n<strong>iece of the pilot-cosmonaut, Hero of the Soviet Union Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin Natalya Borisovna Gagarina<\/strong>, press secretary of <strong>the International Public Organization \u00abBrotherhood of Belarusians and Russians\u00bb Sergei Vasilyevich Sobolev<\/strong> and the archive management represented by director <strong>Andrei Nikolaevich Gonchar<\/strong> and deputy director <strong>Elena Mironovna Grinevich<\/strong>. During the conversation, issues of interaction and partnership regarding access and use for the purpose of popularization of archival documents, in particular, the collection of war correspondent <strong>V.I.Arkashev<\/strong>, were considered.<\/p>\n<p>As an employee of the army newspaper \u00abDestroy the Enemy\u00bb, and then &#8211; the front-line newspaper \u00abKrasnoarmeiskaya Pravda\u00bb, Vasily Ivanovich Arkashev went through a military path from Minsk to Moscow and from Moscow to Koenigsberg. Moscow region, Smolensk region, Belarus, Prussia &#8211; these are the milestones of the journalist&#8217;s biography.<\/p>\n<p>The fate of Vasily Ivanovich Arkashev is closely connected with the city of Gzhatsk in the Smolensk region of the Russian Federation: the archive funds contain unique photographs that capture both the battles for Gzhatsk in the summer of 1941 and its liberation in March 1943.<\/p>\n<p>By the centenary of the liberation of the city from the Nazi invaders, in March 2023 it is planned to open a large-scale exhibition project in this city, in which the BGAKFFD will take part as a partner.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/01-22.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" id=\"media-1036239\" class=\"wp-image-1036239 alignnone size-full\" width=\"80%\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/02-21.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" id=\"media-1036240\" class=\"wp-image-1036240 alignnone size-medium\" width=\"80%\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Monday, November 28, a working meeting of an employee of the Memorial Museum named after A.
