Tatyana Andreevna Bondarchik was born on November 12, 1902 in the town of Dukora (today an agro-year in the Pukhovichi district of the Minsk region). She studied at the women’s teacher’s seminary (Borisov) and teacher’s courses (Bobruisk). She graduated from the Belarusian Drama Studio in Moscow (1926).<\/p>\n

She began her creative activity on the amateur stage. In 1920 she was a member of the Dukorsky drama circle, while studying in Bobruisk she organized the drama circle “Krinitsa” (staged and performed the main role in the play “Peacock” by Y. Kupala).<\/p>\n

She worked at the BDT-1 (later the Y. Kupala Theater), the Belarusian State Drama Theater named after Y. Kolas, the Drama and Comedy Theater at the Belgosetrad, the Bobruisk Mobile Theater of the Belarusian Drama.<\/p>\n

Since 1935, T. Bondarchik kept the archive of the Belarusian State Theater named after Ya. Kolas. She was able to save it during the Great Patriotic War, being evacuated with the theater and leaving to perform with a front-line brigade on the 1st Belorussian Front.<\/p>\n

Famous roles: Ganka (\u201cGanka\u201d by V. Golubka), Elena (\u201cA Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream\u201d by W. Shakespeare), Corypheus of the Choir (\u201cBacchae\u201d by Euripides), Polonea (\u201cPrimaki\u201d by Ya Kupala), grandmother Nasta (\u201cWar to War \u201dY. Kolas), Avdotya Zakharovna (\u201cLarks Sing\u201d by K. Krapiva), Ganna Chikhnyuk (\u201cForgive me, please!\u201d A. Makayonka), Zabunova (\u201cPetty Bourgeois\u201d M. Gorky), Voynitskaya (\u201cUncle Vanya\u201d A. Chekhov), etc.<\/p>\n

The Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art keeps the personal fund of T. Bondarchik, numbering about 150 files. These are texts of roles, photos in roles, memoirs, diary entries, correspondence, biography documents, a collection of photographs, etc.<\/p>\n
