{"id":1004282,"date":"2022-06-13T12:55:42","date_gmt":"2022-06-13T09:55:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/?p=1004282"},"modified":"2022-06-13T12:55:42","modified_gmt":"2022-06-13T09:55:42","slug":"the-team-of-the-state-archives-of-gomel-region-visited-the-lenin-regional-universal-library-in-gomel-to-acquaint-with-its-permanent-expositions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archives.gov.by\/en\/news\/1004282","title":{"rendered":"The team of the State Archives of Gomel Region visited the Lenin Regional Universal Library in Gomel to acquaint with its permanent expositions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the occasion of the <strong>International Archives Day<\/strong> on June 10, 2022 the team of <strong>the State Archives of Gomel Region<\/strong> visited the Lenin Regional Universal Library in Gomel to acquaint with its permanent expositions. <\/p>\n<p>As part of the event, <strong>Nina Konovalova<\/strong>, head of the local history department, acquainted the archivists with the history of the regional library, its structure and information resources. <\/p>\n<p>Also during the event Nina Konovalova conducted a tour of the Museum of Rare Books &#8211; the largest collection of rare publications in this region, and one of the largest in the country. The gem of the Museum is the oldest book in the collection &#8211; collection of canzones of Francesco Petrarch, published in Venice in 1547. <\/p>\n<p>On the first floor of the library the archivists acquainted with the creative work and personal belongings of outstanding people of the Gomel region: I. Ya.Naumenko, I. P.Shamyakin, I.
