The main purpose of the holiday is not only to give children joy, fun and laughter, but also to focus public attention on the real problems of children.<\/p>\n<p>After the end of the Great Patriotic War, when the problems of health and well-being of children were especially acute, in 1949 in Paris a women&#8217;s congress held a vow to fight for a lasting peace, as the only guarantee of happiness for children. A year later, in 1950, the first International Children&#8217;s Day was held on 1 June, and since then this holiday is celebrated annually.<\/p>\n<p>One of the forms of caring for the younger generation is the organization of children&#8217;s leisure time, i.e. health camps.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>State Archives of Minsk Region<\/strong> holds documents about the organization of pioneers&#8217; leisure time in pioneer camps.
