He was born into a peasant family in the village of Nizok, Uzda district, Minsk region<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>During the joint work in the reading room of the State Archives of Minsk Region, the project leader, primary school teacher I.A. Kachuk together with one of the students and the archive staff identified and selected documents concerning the genealogy tree of the Trus family. (The student is a great-grandson of the poet&#8217;s sister Maria Adamovna Trus.)<\/p>\n<p>Nowadays, researching one&#8217;s family has become especially necessary. After the mass displacements of the population, wars, repressions and loss of family archives, the majority of our compatriots broke the link of generations, lost family and clan traditions.
