    The Archives embraces the fonds of various government institutions–local authorities,\r\nstatistical departments, institutions in the field of industry, agriculture and forestry,\r\nthe culture and education divisions of the town executive committees, as well as the fonds\r\nof personal papers. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

    The fonds of government and administration agencies reflect the history of social,\r\npolitical and economic development in the region. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

    The fonds of public education (education departments of the executive committees, the\r\nvocational and technical secondary schools) contain administrative directives, school\r\nschedules, long-term plans, staff lists, reports on staff number and composition, expense\r\nsummaries, etc. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

    Data on the development of culture, arts and printing are held in the records of\r\nnewspaper editor’s, houses of culture, libraries, etc.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

    The fonds of health institutions contain minutes of meetings and conferences, medical\r\ninspection certificates, surveys and reports on medical institutions. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

    The fonds of people’s courts, notary’s and prosecutor’s offices contain data on the\r\nactivity of these organizations, the strengthening of law and public order, the legal\r\nassistance to the population, etc. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

    Records of industry (factories and plants), agriculture (collective and state farms)\r\nand forestry reflect the issues of branch development, the organization of \u00a0\r\nmanagement, the systems of planning and economic incentives, and more. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

    The fonds of construction and architecture institutions contain directives and\r\ninstructions on production activity, staff lists, annual schedules for construction,\r\nmounting, contract and subcontract work, and annual reports on the principal activity. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

    In addition, the Archives holds a collection of personal papers\u00a0 related to the\r\nparticipants of the October Revolution of 1917, the Civil War (1918-1921) and World War\r\nII, Heroes of the Soviet Union and Socialist Labour and other famous people who come from\r\nthis area.
