On the right are the links to view a full-size record. The records are
arranged mainly by territorial unit and in chronological order.

– Electronic copies of records.

The exposition consists of 11 thematic sections (38 internal groups) which
illustrate different aspects of guerilla warfare and partisan-controlled zones
in Belarus, provide information on combat, economic and social activities of partisan fighters and local residents. On display are official
documents of the central and local Partisan and Party organisations. A number of
records illustrate the participation of individual persons in the events. To highlight some key issues on the topic we have also used published material from the encyclopedic, academic and other
editions (in particular, a three-volume book “The all-people’s struggle in
Belarus against the Nazi occupiers”).

The bulk of the exposition are photographs and textual records.
The majority of the texts are typescripts and about one third are manuscripts (mainly
original items, in full and fragments). On display are also 15 maps, 9
audio records and 9 video records (fragments from radio programs and
documentary films).

The offered material is not exhaustive and further research is possible on the subject.

Participants

General coordination of the project – Department for Archives and Records
Management of the Justice Ministry of the Republic of Belarus.

Main executor of the project, information contents, web design – Belarusian
Research Center for Electronic Records.

Selection of archival sources and making of digital copies – Belarusian State Archives
of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings, National Archives of the Republic of
Belarus, Belarusian State Archives-Museum of Literature and Art, Belarusian
Research Center for Electronic Records.

Notes

The use of the project materials requires a reference to the source of
information – the Archives of Belarus Website and the individual archive in
which a record is held.
