BelNIIDAD released guidelines on selection of automated records management systems

The Belarusian Research Institute of Records Management and Archival Studies (BelNIIDAD) released guidelines (methodical recommendations) on selection of automated records management systems (agency electronic recordkeeping systems) in government agencies and other institutions.

The guidelines deal with the selection and appraisal of automated records management systems in government institutions. They give a detailed description of selection processes for records systems in an institution and examine their functional requirements according to the Belarusian legislation in electronic recordkeeping. They also examine potential risks in the implementation of the systems and the ways of their solution.
