The second collection of published documents and materials in the series “The history of development of industrial enterprises in Rechitsa District: evidences from archives” has been recently released by the Local State Archives in Rechitsa. The book illuminates the most important sides in the sphere of industrial production in Rechitsa District after the Great Patriotic War.

The first 2013 issue covered a 12-year period of the reconstruction of local industrial enterprises after the liberation of the district from the Nazi invaders — 1943-1955. The second book reflects their work in 1956-1968, the period of the Khrushchev Thaw and the first years of Brezhnev’s time.

The book is based on documents and materials created by bodies of state power and administration and local enterprises in the town of Rechitsa and Rechitsa district (a hardware plant, a plywood and furniture factory, a hydrolysis yeast plant, a clothing factory etc.) available from the holdings of the Local State Archives in Rechitsa as well as local newspaper publications about the work of businesses.
