STV TV Channel shows footage about the creation of Victory Monument on basis of BGANTD documents

The little known facts about the Victory Monument in Minsk have been voiced in the STV news information programme “Nedelya”.

In their footage the STV TV Channel has used documents available from the Belarusian State Archives of Scientific and Technical Documentation (BGANTD). In particular, these include archive materials from the collections of architects Georgy Zaborsky and Vladimir Korol, documentary photographs from various periods, resolutions of the Council of Ministers on the contest for the best monument design, design sketches etc.

This year the Victory Monument in Minsk celebrates 65 Years.
