Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management V. Kourash had a business trip to Vitebsk Region

On 19-20 December 2018 Victor Kourash, Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Justice Ministry of the Republic of Belarus had a business trip to Vitebsk Region.

During his trip on 19 December Victor Kourash met with Vice Chairman of Vitebsk Region Executive Committee V.P. Penin and Chief of Main Justice Administration of the Committee S.P. Konopelko to discuss issues of archive development in the region. Also, Victor Kourash got acquainted with the material-technical base of the State Archives of Vitebsk Region and took part in the ceremonial event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the foundation of the State Archives of Vitebsk Region and in the Archival Readings “The Archive Business in Vitebsk Region: History and Present Times” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the archive service in the region.

On 20 December at Polotsk, Victor Kourash met with the administration of this city to discuss issues of archive development in the Republic of Belarus and in the region.

During his trip Victor Kourash visited the Local State Archives in Polotsk and Polotsk Municipal Archive and got acquainted with the material-technical base of these archival institutions.
