Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management participated in the ceremony dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the State Archival Service of the Republic of Tatarstan

Between 20 and 22 November 2018 Mr. Victor Kourash, Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Justice Ministry of the Republic of Belarus had a business trip to Kazan (Russian Federation). He took part in the couch session on the topic “Archives and Preservation of the Identity of the Peoples of Russia” and made a welcome speech at the ceremonial event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the State Archival Service of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In his greeting to the participants, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov highly appreciated the role and significance of archives in the life of the state and the society.

The events included negotiations with the Chairman of the State Committee on Archives of the Republic of Tatarstan Gulnara Gabdrakhmanova, in which they discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation between the archival services of Belarus and Tatarstan.
