The Minsk City Hall hosted a festive meeting to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Historical Archives of Belarus. The event brought together a wide range of participants and guests.
Ms G. Akulovich, Head of the Archive’s Division of Information Retrieval Systems received an honorary diploma from the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus. A number of other Archive’s employees received honorary diplomas and letters of thanks from the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Information, presented by Deputy Minister for Justice A. Avdeyev.
Many Archive’s members were awarded with honorary diplomas and letters of thanks from the Department for Archives and Records Management, the Minsk City Executive Committee, the National Academy of Sciences, and the National Historical Archives.
Words of congratulation were given by Deputy Minister for Justice A. Avdeyev, Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management V. Kourash, Deputy of the Chamber of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus V. Papko, Deputy Director of the History Institute of the National Academy of Sciences V. Lakiza, and many more.

The event included the demonstration exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the National Historical Archives of Belarus and a temporary exposition of the original copies of legal documents created by Minsk City Council in the 17th century.
