The State Archives of Minsk Region takes part in the exhibition 2017 Centenary Year of Civil Registry Offices ZAGS

The State Archives of Minsk Region takes part in the exhibition “2017 Centenary Year of Civil Registry Offices ZAGS” dedicated to the International Family Day. The exhibition runs in the building of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee.

Victor Sirenko, Deputy Chairman of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee noted the importance of this exhibition first of all as a display of historical and juridical documents.

Among the unique exhibits are the original wedding dresses from the 1950s to the present day. Other items of interest include photographs of newly born babies and their joyful parents and the families celebrating the 40th and 50th anniversary of their marriage.

The majority of the offered documents and photos are available from the Civil Registry Offices in Minsk, Smolevichi and Stolbtsy and the State Archives of Minsk Region.
